Senior Vice President of Government Affairs
Alicia Berhow has been with Orange County Business Council since April of 2007 having previously served as Director of Workforce Development and Vice President of Workforce Development and Advocacy. Previously, Alicia served for five years as Senior Field Representative for Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez working on education and health care issues. Prior to her time with the Congresswoman, Alicia was worked as Sales Administrator for Miller Brewing Company in Irvine.
Alicia currently serves as a board member for the Anaheim Workforce Investment Board as chair of the Economic Development Committee, an Ambassador for the Delhi Community Center in Santa Ana, and Board Chair for the Community Action Partnership / Orange County Food Bank. In 2011 Alicia was appointed by Assembly Speaker John A. Perez to the California Board of Accountancy. In 2015, she was reappointed by Speaker Toni Atkins and currently serves as President regulating more than 103,000 accountants and partnerships in the state.
Born in Utah and raised in Orange County, Alicia received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science at the University of California, Irvine in 2001.
