His varied professional accomplishments and commitment to supporting the business community make him an asset to the organization,” said Lucy Dunn, OCBC President and CEO. “The Business Council stands strong as the leading voice of business in Orange County, and with Eddie’s leadership will continue to lay the groundwork for business growth and success in the region.”
“I am honored to serve the Orange County business community along with the outstanding board,” said Northen. “OCBC is well-recognized as a leader enhancing infrastructure, education, housing and economic development, not only in Orange County, but across the state and nation.”
Northen will lead the Council in 2011 with the following newly elected officers: Chair-elect: Julie Miller-Phipps, Kaiser Permanente; Treasurer: Ed Reno, Allergan; Secretary: Lucy Dunn, OCBC; and Immediate Past Chair: Linda Martin, Porter Novelli.
The 2011 Officers and Board of Directors will be sworn in during OCBC’s Annual Dinner, held February 3, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Irvine.
