The stock market has been a roller coaster and economic indicators are less than reassuring. What does it mean and where do we go from here? Please join us for the Governemt Affairs committee with some very special guests.
For an overview on the markets and what it means to the economy, we’ll have a presentation from PIMCO’s Managing Director, James Moore, and Senior Vice President, Erika Lowe.
Following will be a presentation with more of a state perspective.
Each year Next 10 releases several updates to its online state budget simulation, the California Budget Challenge. Be one of the first to participate in the latest update, where Next 10 has updated their baseline and policy options to put you in control of the decisions made to resolve the most recent budget shortfall. Sarah Henry, Next 10’s Program Director, will facilitate the presentation, and participants will vote in real time and offer their insights on the policy choices that would be best for California’s future.
We’ll wrap up with an update from Dick Castner of the US Chamber of Commerce.
This is a not-to-miss meeting!
