OCBC’s Transportation Advisory Council
OCMoves was established by a coalition of Measure M stakeholders - comprised of private and public sector representatives – to advocate for Orange County’s transportation priorities at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as to provide oversight on behalf of the business community for the implementation of Measure M, renewed in 2006. Following is an outline of the OCMoves workplan:

- Provide constructive review and support from the business community for the Draft Early Action Plan for Renewed Measure M.

- Expansion of the Metrolink service;
- Potential rebidding of custodial banking services.
II. Advocacy Program – Establish a legislative program to mobilize support around Orange County’s transportation programs and projects.
- Formulate an effective advocacy program, focusing on Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, to increase the level of state and federal funding for Orange County transportation projects.

More about Measure M
The Measure M Committee proposes and evaluates transportation projects that will improve traffic congestion and enhance Orange County’s infrastructure future. The committee meets as needed, for more information contact Kris Murray.
The Renewal of Measure M is vital to Orange County's infrastructure and its growing population. It will provide nearly $12 billion in local transportation dollars to improve freeways, maintain streets and roads. To ensure its passage, the Orange County Business Council has joined forces with the Comittee to Renew Measure M, a privately funded campaign effort comprised of residents, business professionals and community activits who understand that we must continue to invest in transportation improvements if we are to maintain our quality of life and keep our economy strong.
