Transportation infrastructure projects are helping create and sustain much-needed jobs. To highlight the important contribution that the voter-approved Measure M2 program is making to create jobs, Orange County Transportation Authority is partnering with Orange County Business Council, leading economists, top transportation officials, labor and other key stakeholder groups to host the Jobs Now Summit on Wednesday, August 31.
The half-day jobs summit will bring together leaders representing different backgrounds to discuss the impacts of the Measure M2 program on economic conditions in Orange County and to identify possible solutions to expedite transportation projects that will create and sustain additional jobs. Confirmed speakers representatives from the Federal Highway Administration, California Transportation Commission, OCBC Vice President of Economic Development and Research Dr. Wallace Walrod and OCBC President and CEO Lucy Dunn as panel moderator.
