Nina Robinson is an established leader and senior marketing communications professional. With over 25 years of diversified brand management experience, she has a proven track record in strategic planning, profitability, client service, multi-channel marketing and consumer experience. A dynamic team leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results in a fast pace environment, Robinson is now providing her experience and expertise at one of Orange County’s leading healthcare brands, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and its healthcare network as Vice President, Marketing, Corporate Communications and Consumer Experience.
In her current position, Robinson is responsible for leading the organization’s full service marketing communications and experience functions including strategic marketing and communications programs, planning, media relations, public affairs, community relations and employee communications. She has a proven track record in strategic planning, profitability, client service, consumer experience and multi-channel marketing. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team and Public Information Officer for the organization, Robinson is an established leader in change management and is leading the way in promoting Hoag as a nationally recognized, state-of-the-art and comprehensive, patient centered service model for healthcare.
In prior experience, Robinson spent 14 years leading marketing and communications for the Irvine Company’s Retail Properties portfolio, one of Orange County’s largest and most prominent real estate owners and developers. As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Robinson spearheaded strategic marketing for three successful regional centers (Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine, and The Market Place in Irvine and Tustin) and 38 neighborhood and community centers. Robinson oversaw the brand positioning, consumer and leasing marketing, communications and interactive marketing advancement for the company’s existing retail portfolio, as well as new development.
While at Irvine Company, Robinson effectively facilitated strategic marketing collaboration with the Resort, Office, Apartment and Housing divisions of the Irvine Company to achieve business plan results that effectively targeted and promoted the real estate amenities available to the customer. Effective use of customer intelligence and research data drove development and operating results.
Before joining the Irvine Company in 2001, Robinson served as Director of Marketing with Madison Marquette Retail Services, handling the Irvine Company’s retail portfolio. Prior to that, she was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Fashion Island in Newport Beach for four years.
Robinson also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Diversified Marketing Concepts in Irvine, where she oversaw strategic marketing, positioning, advertising and public relations for retailers and shopping centers nationwide. She also has previous experience in retail management, merchandising, marketing, advertising, public relations and special events for national retailers such as Cort Furniture, Crazy Shirts, R.H. Macy & Co., and J.W. Robinsons.
Robinson has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Finance from Woodbury University in Los Angeles, and an Associate of Arts Degree in Merchandising from FIDM.
