Join OCBC on Tuesday, August 31, for the annual LEA Reception celebrating 17 years of helping families succeed! This event will be a recognition and celebration of all the volunteers that make the program possible and for all the families who graduated from the program. LEA changes the lives of hundreds of families every year by educating and empowering them to be active in their child’s educational attainment.
What is LEA?
LEA educates Orange County’s immigrant families on the skills needed to navigate California’s school system and empower them to be the best advocates for their children’s educational success. Formerly Latino Educational Attainment, LEA is now Leading Educational Attainment for Families as the program has expanded to meet the needs of Orange County’s ever-growing ethnic diversity. Join us at the LEA Reception to learn more.
