Dr. Nicole Chávez has been empowering students and teachers to be active participants in the role of teaching and learning with our youth and community through OCDE Project GLAD® strategies since 2004.  Where she oversees the implementation and strategic development of OCDE Project GLAD® National Training Center, supporting Integrated and Designated ELD, the integration of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), Social Emotional Learning and Universal Design for Learning. Nicole also is a contributing member of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion                                                                       workgroup at OCDE. Dr. Lisa Kirtman is the Dean of the College of Education at California State University, Fullerton. Since arriving at CSU Fullerton in 2000, her leadership positions included Chair for the Department of Elementary and Bilingual Education, and Associate Dean for the College of Education. She was the recipient of the Insight into Diversity Magazine Giving Back Award, the CSUF Teachers-Scholar Award, the Outstanding Service Award, and College of Education Distinguished Faculty Marshal Award. Robbin Narike Preciado

Robbin Narike Preciado is a managing director and regional president for the Regional Bank at MUFG Union Bank, N.A. She oversees retail banking in Southern California. Narike Preciado joined Union Bank in 2010 and has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services. Prior to Union Bank, she spent 21 years at one of the largest financial institutions in the country, where she distinguished herself in a number of key retail management roles. She also served as national sales manager for the affluent market segment and as a regional president of retail banking in                                                               Southern California. Richard Porras

Assistant Vice President, External Affairs


In January 2000 Richard was appointed as Area Vice President overseeing External Affairs for Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. During his 40-year tenure with the company, Porras has watched the corporation maintain its leading edge in the industry as telecommunications technology advanced at breakneck speed. Through the evolution of its brand from AT&T, to Pacific Bell with its divesture in 1984, to SBC with its merger in 1996, to its re-emerge to AT&T in 2006, Porras continued advancing in his career as well. Porras currently directs business, community and governmental relations for AT&T in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. View BIO
