Internship Opportunities

 

Boeing Company

Boeing offers a variety of internships to students in the fields of engineering, business, information technology, and data analytics. Internships are available to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree program, a master’s degree program, or a consolidated bachelor’s/ master’s degree program. All internship programs are approximately 10-12 weeks during the summer. Students must be able to work full-time. Applicants must apply the fall quarter before the program.

Parsons Corporation

Parsons offers internships to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in engineering fields ranging from civil, environmental, chemical, and computer science. Internship opportunities are ongoing throughout the year and can be viewed under the job portal of the Parsons website.

SunPower Corporation

SunPower offers internships to students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs. Their summer internship program is offered for 10 weeks for students pursing fields in STEM. In addition to the summer internship program, SunPower also offers a one week work-based learning program to high school students interested in STEM fields.

Los Angeles Angels Anaheim 

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim offers paid internship opportunities for students in departments including sponsorship services, marketing, media relations, community relations, stadium/ballpark operations, special events, finance, and baseball operations. Interns have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours a week and must be able to work a flexible schedule during the team’s season.

Orange County Sanitation District Student Internship Program

Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) offers a range of paid internship programs for undergraduate, graduate, and vocational students. Students will have the opportunity to work a maximum of 20 hours a week in fields including engineering, wastewater operations and collection, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical maintenance, information technology, laboratory and ocean monitoring, public affairs, and human resources. In order to be eligible for the OCSD internship program students must meet a set of requirements including:

  • Enrollment in college, university, or vocational school
  • Remain in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from professor as part of their application
