OCBC and OCTA Host Discussion with Reps. Peter Defazio and Harley Rouda
On April 6, OCBC and the Orange County Transportation Authority were pleased to welcome U.S. House of Representatives Chairman for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Peter DeFazio (D-Oregon’s 4th District), and Freshman Representative Harley Rouda (D-CA’s 48th District), to discuss federal transportation projects in Orange County.
Among the projects discussed were OC Streetcar, Orange County as a “self-help” transportation center with Measure M1 and M2, the I-405 Improvement Project and bringing back much needed federal dollars to Southern California.
The meeting, hosted by OCTA CEO Darrell Johnson, included CTC Chairwoman Fran Inman, Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, Chair of OCTA, Mobility 21 Executive Director Jenny Larios, Metrolink CEO Stephanie Wiggins, and OCBC Board member Larry Labrado of Southern California Edison.
The meeting also included OCBC members: HNTB, AECOM, Anaheim Transportation Network, Faubel Public Affairs and WSP.
