Orange County Business Council Endorses Representative Mimi Walters For Re-Election to 45th Congressional District Seat
IRVINE, CA – July 24, 2018 – Orange County Business Council today announced it is endorsing Rep. Mimi Walters for re-election to the 45th Congressional District seat she has held since 2014. Walters – a former two-term member of the California Assembly and the representative of California’s 37th State Senate District – is currently serving her second term in congress.

Walters currently sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee; the Subcommittee on Communications, the Subcommittee on Technology, Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection, and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. She’s also serves as the vice chair of the Congressional Women’s Caucus.
Prior to her election to congress and her service in the California State Senate and Assembly, Walters was a member of the Laguna Niguel City Council. She is a founder of the California Women’s Leadership Association and has served on the Boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the American Cancer Society and the South Coast Medical Center Foundation.
