Rachel Rolnicki, OCBC VP of Government Affairs, Hard at Work at CHOC Children’s
The team at Orange County Business Council has actively been working to help the community stay safe and healthy from the coronavirus pandemic. For example, Rachel Rolnicki, OCBC Vice President of Government Affairs, has been on assignment at CHOC Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Rachel has been reporting to CHOC Children’s in Orange each day to support Jena Jensen, Chief Government Relations Officer at CHOC. Rachel has joined Ms. Jensen in the hospital’s command center for daily briefings among the hospital’s leadership.
In order to stay informed on the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, CHOC Children’s must constantly monitor all information coming from state, federal, and local levels. Rachel is currently assisting Ms. Jensen to make sure CHOC is receiving the most current information and distilling it to the hospital patients and staff.
Additionally, Rachel has been able to help oversee special projects at CHOC. Most recently, Rachel helped the hospital secure hand sanitizer donations from the Blinking Owl Distillery in Santa Ana, and is working to help CHOC acquire specialty face masks for hospital staff.
Rachel’s efforts on behalf of the Orange County Business Council continue to help benefit CHOC Children’s and the children of Orange County.
