TCA Receives Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability Award, Recognizes Lucy Dunn
The TCA Foothill-South Settlement Agreement, which cleared the way for a solution to improve mobility in South Orange County and the Southern California region – won top honors from the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) at the 2017 Sustainability Awards. Recognized for 2017’s Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability, the landmark agreement follows a 20-year effort by TCA to gain approval for the southern extension of the 241 Toll Road, clearing the path for a new process and allowing TCA to consider a number of transportation ideas including options connecting the 241 Toll Road to Interstate 5, while also protecting sensitive lands and cultural resources. OCBC played a pivotal role in facilitating the agreement and was honored to support TCA at the awards ceremony. In a short video, project stakeholder discuss the challenges and solutions of the project, and thanked Dunn for her involvement. CLICK HERE for the video.
